The project involved installing new domestic water and fire protection backflow preventers, associated piping, and supporting equipment for the CANEX Military Store and office building. The goal was to upgrade the building’s water systems to meet current backflow prevention requirements while minimizing disruption to daily operations.

The project required working within confined existing mechanical rooms while modifying active domestic water and fire protection systems. Careful planning and coordination of water shutdowns and fire alarm bypasses were essential to complete the installation safely while minimizing disruption to the daily operations of the CANEX Military Store and office spaces.
